Bearing Witness is acclaimed street photographer Emmanuel Cole's first photography book, focusing on his main inspiration and muse: London. 

For over 10 years, Emmanuel has been observing the streets of London and its inhabitants with the mission of capturing its very essence. His images are intimate and saturated with meaning, telling stories of Londoners through his lens.

Bearing Witness is a unique collection of the fleeting moments Emmanuel has captured of the city and the relationships he has forged with the people he has met, whether on the tube or in the Grime scene.

"Once photography came into my life, it gave me my love for the places and faces of London. It has also given me those moments of connection, street encounters with fellow Londoners. My mission became to share those people’s stories, bear witness."
